We believe that brewing a cup of Chinese tea shouldn’t be a complicated matter. There’s no need for excessive grades, aromas, categories, or complex brewing rules, nor should there be a cultural burden that discourages anyone. Simply find the tea you like, pair it with the right tea utensils, brew naturally, and you’ll experience the purest flavor of the tea.
We carefully select high-quality teas from across China, with a particular focus on products processed using traditional craftsmanship, ensuring that each type of tea showcases its purest and most authentic flavor.
To date, we have established partnerships with more than 23 tea suppliers in China, ranging from provincial-level organic tea farms to family-run tea plantations that have been passed down through generations.
We update our inventory directly at the source based on the tea-picking and production schedules, ensuring every batch of tea is fresh and of high quality. From Guangdong to Hunan, Sichuan to Yunnan, Zhejiang to Fujian... our dedicated little van is constantly traveling the roads leading to tea-producing areas.
Our team members have professional backgrounds in Chinese tea production and evaluation, but we strongly believe that the journey of tea discovery shouldn’t stop at earning a tea evaluation certificate.
In our pursuit of high-quality tea, we consult experienced tea experts and master tea makers to learn about the characteristics and production processes of each type of tea, delving into the regional features of teas from different areas. At the same time, we actively participate in major local tea trade fairs, exchanging ideas with industry partners and obtaining first-hand information on tea production.
Before each tea is listed on our site, it undergoes countless rounds of testing and evaluation. We carefully preserve tea samples to ensure the quality and consistency of each batch of products. Based on professional and widely recognized standards for loose leaf tea grading and evaluation, we classify the teas accordingly. Additionally, when translating tea names, we do our best to retain their original meaning and unique characteristics.
Since the launch of our small online store in 2009, ESGREEN has provided quality service to more than 1,700 customers from around the world. Over 60 local tea houses, tea rooms, hotels, and restaurants have also chosen us as their tea supplier.
The year 2024 marks the 15th anniversary of our store’s launch. This year, we’ve completely upgraded and redesigned our website. We’ve added video introductions for every tea, helping tea lovers gain a more intuitive understanding of the tea’s appearance, brewing methods, and flavor characteristics. We’ve also optimized our customer service system, making it easier for everyone to communicate with our team at any time. Additionally, we’ve upgraded our package tracking software, allowing customers to track their orders in real-time. In the future, we will continue improving the browsing and shopping experience to bring you an even better experience.
